Jazz from Rant is a musicians' collective of jazz artists, improvisors and composers led by benevolent dictator Jeannette Lambert. Our  recordings document musical projects and groups that range from wild improvised music and orchestral madness to swinging song for kids, tearful torch songs and thought-provoking poetry.

- The Bronte Project continued along from NYC to Toronto where Jeannette recorded more poems with Reg Schwager on guitar including a poem by Anne Bronte, featured here and download-able for your video iPod.

- Attention drum maniacs!  Drum duos with Rakalam Bob Moses and Michel Lambert currently in production.  Also in the works is a compilation of Michel's drum duos with Han Bennink, Daniel Humair, Sven Ake Johansson and John Heward.

- Guitarist Art Johnson, Michel Lambert and bassist Marc Peillon, recorded in Antibes, France.  Art plays violin and multiple guitars on this session.
